As is known, customs examination is one of the effective forms of customs control; it occupies the leading position among customs procedures. In accordance with concepts established by current legislation, customs control is understood as a set of measures carried out by customs bodies with a view to ensure compliance with legislation of Transdniestria pertaining customs system, legislation and international instruments of Transdniestria, control over execution of which is imposed on customs bodies of Transdniestria.

The College of the State Customs Committee of Transdniestria congratulates the staff of Customs Service, their families, and economic agents on 20-th anniversary of formation of Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic.

The prospects of the formation of the more perfect mechanisms of the information support of the customs service of Transdniestria are defined by the Program of the development of the customs bodies of Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic (TMR) for the period till 2014. In this context the employees of the Department of the information and technical support of the State Customs Committee of TMR (DITS) together with the experts of the related departments of the customs committee, are conducting a systematic work on the automation of the managerial processes, creations of the automated techniques of the analysis, forecasting, modeling, optimization and decision-making.

On the eve of the 20^th anniversary of Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic (TMR) the state awards were handed over to the employees of the structural divisions of the State Customs Committee in its main office. Among those, who were awarded, were the defenders of Transdniestria.
